Application of treatment methods
Öncelikle merhaba, burayı çalışma alanı olarak kullacağım. Çıkarttığım özetleri buraya aktaracağım. Metcalf &Eddy - Wastewater Engineering kitabını, Water Reuse Kitabını, internet kaynaklarını kullandım burada. Doktora yeterlilik (PhD qualification exam) sınavı için hazırladım. Yüksek Lisans (Master) öncesi bu notlara bakabilirsiniz.
1. Preliminary treatment (ön arıtma): Kaba maddeleri ayırma
Removal of big particles and floatables (such as rags, sticks, grit, and grease)
Aim: can cause maintenance or operational problems with the treatment operations, processes, systems.
2. Primary treatment: İnce maddeleri ayırma
Removal of a portion of the suspended solids and organic matter from the wastewater.
3. Advanced primary treatment: Kimyasal ekleyerek ince madde ayrıma
Typically accomplished by chemical addition or filtration and removing Suspended Solids (SS) and Organic Matter (OM) - coagulation-flocculation
4. Secondary treatment: Biodegradable & Organic Matter Ayırma
Removal of biodegradable organic matter (in solution or suspension) and suspended solids. Disinfection is also typically included in the definition of conventional secondary treatment.
5. Secondary with nutrient removal: Amaç nutrient değil ama arıtırken o da giderse.
Removal of biodegradable organics, suspended solids, and nutrients (N, P, or both N&P).
6. Tertiary treatment: After secondary
Removal of residual suspended solids (after secondary treatment), usually by granular medium filters, cloth filters, or microscreens. Disinfection is also typically a part of tertiary treatment. Nutrient removal is often included in this definition.
7. Advanced treatment: For water reuse
Removal of dissolved and suspended materials remaining after normal biological treatment when required for various water reuse applications.
Note: Primary unit processes refers to physical treatment, Secondary refers to chemical and biological unit processes. Tertiary refers to combinations of all three.
